A bargain at just £15 from Lidl supermarket just a few years back. A very nice modern freespool reel (twin drag) with not one but two aluminium alloy spools (scratches head in puzzlement). I bought this and the 3000S model (also uploaded): both very capable reels, this 5000S model being aimed more at specimen work, carp, pike. Unfortunately we can not go back to Lidl and buy more as they were "Special Buys" only available for a week or so while stocks last.
PS. I forgot to demo the excellent folding handle: folds sideways at the press of a button and snaps back into place firmly and without drift.
