Levitating by Dua Lipa - Collab with Julia Skye
Vocals and bass duet of the song "Levitating" by Dua Lipa. This is my first collab with a singer on this channel! Vocals and 6-string bass is a rare combo, but in my opinion it sounds fantastic because you can fill up a ton of sonic space using the lows of the bass guitar to support the highs of the vocals. And six-string chords and percussive techniques with vocals also creates a very warm unique texture!
This collab was inspired by collabs like Tim Carey's work with Amanda Taylor, and Andres Rotmistrovsky's many collabs with different singers. We hope you enjoy this arrangement as much as we did working on it!
