Hot Keys With Coffee: Option + Drag | Premiere Pro Tutorial
Ever wanted to replace a clip on your timeline without having to go through the hassle of having to delete it and get everything lined up again? Might I suggest the wonderful world of ✨ OPTION + DRAG ✨

Use this helpful hot key to easily replace a clip already on your timeline by simply locating the clip you want to place on your timeline in your project panel, click on that clip once to get it highlighted, hold down OPTION, and begin dragging that clip to the clip you wish to replace on the timeline. Once overtop the clip you’d like to replace a + sign will reveal. When you see that release the option key and your mouse and BOOM 💥 the clip has been replaced! 🪄

Such a simple hot key, but honestly one of my all time favorites. I use this bad boi everyday ALL. THE. TIME.
