Carnival Venezia Safety Briefing. If you haven't cruised in awhile Carnival Cruise lines has made a major change to their muster safety briefing and it is so much better now. They also have a new kind of life jacket. Sometimes called eMuster you now report to your muster station and your Sail & Sign card is scanned and you get an incredibly shortened safety briefing right away without waiting. They even do it one-on-one so there's a nice personal touch although the real difference is how much quicker, and therefore comfortable, it is.
Before you go you will see this notice on every screen in the Carnival HUB app:
"MANDATORY PASSENGER MUSTERING
You must check-in at your assigned Muster Station soon after boarding."
There will also be a button that says "View Passenger Mustering"
There is a Time Remaining countdown and if you don't go before then you may be named and shamed on the ship's public address system so just go early. The app tells you which Muster Station you are assigned to and lets you view the location on a ship map. There is also an instrutional video you can watch on how to don your life jacket which is basically what the safety briefing itself covers.
