We take on restoring tail lights on the 1981 Mazda RX7. Restoring tail lights is no easy job. Doing 40 year old JDM plastic tail lights with their sun baked plastic and cracking lenses is a different story! To restore taillights like these take patience as the plastic over the years has become brittle and doesn’t bend like it used to.
With some headlight polishing compound and air duct tape we bring them back to life and give the car a new look.
Thanks to Know Motors for helping find and supply the tail lights for this project. Be sure to check out his website to see his large supply of all rx7 parts!
