Written by National Artist for Music Antonio Molina, Hating-Gabi ("At Midnight") is one of the most loved Filipino serenades written for violin and piano. Lyrical and full of different colors, the music evokes images of a moonlit night and a meeting of lovers. Janine Samaniego, the current concertmaster of the UP Symphony Orchestra, performs the violin solo part.
