In this session, we took a deep dive into the data thrown up by the State of Skills-Based Hiring Report 2023.
We polled 1,500 employers, and 87% said they experience problems with resumes.
Among the struggles:
🎯 51% struggle to verify the accuracy of resumes
🔍 43% find it hard to rank applicants based on resumes
💡 43% face difficulties in gauging applicants' skills through resumes
In short, resumes are biased, difficult to use, and often fail at identifying the most skilled applicants for a role.
✅ But there's a new approach to recruitment that is driving managers to ditch resumes and make better hires.
