Post-truth America with Gral. Michael Hayden
A couple of years ago, the Oxford Dictionaries' word of the year was "post-truth." It means a condition where facts are less influential in shaping opinion than emotion and personal belief. Retired Air Force General Michael Hayden, a former director of the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, says the post-truth condition threatens good intelligence. Primal Interviews caught up with Mr. Hayden at a National Conference on the First Amendment at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
