Violence in schools continues to remain in the spotlight in South Africa. In recent weeks we have seen chaotic classroom brawls and learner on learner attacks. Just last week a Grade 10 pupil was stabbed allegedly by a fellow learner and died in hospital. Professor Cathy Ward from the Department Of Psychology at the University Of Cape Town weighs in on this.
