But the truth is all SEOs knew this already.
Google has this attribute called a badClick. A badClick is a quick bounce back to the search results.
But this isn't only caused by bad content.
Ugly websites, slow websites, clunky websites, confusing websites - these all have increased bounce rates. These all have badClicks.
So having good UI/UX isn't just nice for branding.
It's good for SEO.
But I'm not gonna leave you hanging. Here are some quick tips on how to improve UI/UX.
Use large margins and lots of empty space like Apple here.
Remove clutter from a page.
