On the Ableton Push 2, a tonic minor chord can be played in a number of different shapes. Here are a few examples:
Root position: This is the most basic shape, where the root note of the chord is played on the bottom of the chord and the other notes are stacked on top of it. To play a tonic minor chord in root position on the Push 2, select a scale or key and hold down the root note of the chord. The chord will automatically be played in root position.
Inverted: An inverted chord is one where the root note is not the lowest note of the chord. To play an inverted tonic minor chord on the Push 2, select a scale or key, and then hold down the root note of the chord while also pressing the notes that are a third and a fifth above it. This will invert the chord, with the third or the fifth becoming the lowest note.
Voiced: A voiced chord is one where the notes are played in a different order than they are stacked in the chord. To play a voiced tonic minor chord on the Push 2, select a scale or key, and then hold down the root note of the chord while also pressing the notes that are a third and a fifth above it, but in a different order than they are stacked in the chord.
It's also possible to play tonic minor chords using different voicings or inversions on the Push 2 by using the chord function and selecting the specific voicing or inversion you want to use.
