Unfortunately, it continues to remain hot, and dry. October is typically the second wettest month for rainfall, behind May. Typically great times for rain as the growing season picks up, and again as the season winds down.
As you can see, many plants are struggling, and there is hope for rain, but unfortunately on Halloween. At this point I can't complain, since we desperately need rain. Hopefully November will see more rainfall, but give me enough of a break to decorate the house for Christmas!
