(Airsoft) MP5 Cyma Platinum (CM.041G)
This video concerns the CM.041G from Cyma, a model from their "Platinum" serie. It is a modernized MP5 replica (PDW type stock, 130-round magazine, magazine ejection lever, flat trigger, hand guard and top rail), whose main characteristic is to have a very high rate of fire out of the box.

The replica, full metal, has a very "rough" finish and feels quite heavy. I really like the original handguard and top rail, which are reproductions of Midwest Industries rails. The rate of fire is particularly fun. The out of the box power (around 335 FPS) is reasonable and the performances are fine. The replica has a mosfet (which makes a little jingle when you connect the battery), but I don't know its characteristics precisely.
Two problems to report on my model: the fire selector is particularly difficult to use, it is quite hard to switch the replica to semi auto, the selector needs to be moved very carefully in the right position. If the selector is just a little above, you will shoot full auto.
The hop up is adjusted via a kind of slider hidden behind the false bolt carrier. It's not very practical to use and above all, it is very loose, which causes the hop up to go wrong very quickly.
