Working with Reference Footage in Maya - Putting It All Together
Finally, we will import our renders into After Effects where we will add a mask to reveal the "movie under the movie". Once that is done, we will work with a nested composition, adding our original reference video and our rotoscoped 2D animation in a "screen in screen effect". Let's not forget to label our work, which I will show you how to do before we output the video as an MP4 using Adobe Media Encoder.
