In my Nike Metcon 6 review, I go over why I didn't upgrade to the Metcon 5 when I had my Metcon 4 shoes and why the Metcon 6 is so great.
As in my old Nike Metcon 4 review video, the verdict is pretty much the same and that is:
The shoe has superb build quality
It's way more breathable than the Metcon 4s
It comes with heel inserts and while they are not substantial, they do help a little bit.
For the average gym-goer who doesn't want to (or can't) buy dedicated squat shoes, these are the perfect solution and it's why I am definitely recommending the Nike Metcon 6 to pretty much everyone.
It's great for Deadlifts, Overhead Press, Bench Press, Squats (with or without the heel lifts) and pretty much everything in between.
I'm not an Olympic weight lifter or practice with those movements so I can't speak on how it is for those lifts, but if you're like me, and don't practice those, get them.
