Severely, ASTHMA! - Episode 4: Research can change your life with severe asthma, Breda's story
Breda Flood is a 67 years old Irish whose asthma got worse after a pneumonia in her 30s. She has struggled to live with asthma after that but thanks to key research findings and her implication in research projects, she got an accurate diagnosis of her asthma 5 years ago. Throughout her life, Breda has found support in her local patient association, and through it she became a patient representative at national and European level, building bridges between healthcare professionals and patients, but also between patients, science and policy-makers. In this #SevereAsthma video you will learn more about Breda's remarkable contribution to the patient movement, and how each and every patient can be involved in clinical research.
