Found a hidden offshore grass spot on the Chickahominy River — and it was LOADED with schooling bass!
Today, I’m chasing largemouth bass on Virginia’s Chickahominy River — a tidal fishery that connects to the James River — and I found them schooled up in offshore grass! The bite wasn’t fast and furious, but when you find the right spot on this system, it can be lights out. I put the Jackhammer Chatterbait with a Spunk Shad trailer to work and connected with some solid fish in deeper grass away from the bank.
