Fishing a bass tournament on the Chowan River is always a challenge, but this one was different — I fished completely solo against 40+ two-man teams. With tough conditions and no clear pattern, almost every fish I caught came on a different lure or technique.

In this video, I take you through the entire tournament day start to finish: the strategy, the adjustments, the struggles, and the bites that made it all come together. If you want to see what it’s really like to fish a tournament alone on the Chowan River, this is it.

🎣 Gear Used
Rods: Dobyns Champion XP series
Reels: Shimano Curado & Daiwa Tatula
