First race in the now-not-so-new Formula Vee. I'm playing it safe as my Safety Rating took a nose dive in the process of earning an A-class license in the GT3 series. I actually entered this race with every intention of starting from pit lane, and safely nabbing SR. But then I got into the car and realized I'm just not wired for that. Next thing I know I'm out there qualifying on the second row in the top split. Can't say this was an eventful race - I wasn't attacking hard to protect that SR (example I had the inside line into Turn 1 Lap 1, but the blinking car beside me was a concern, so I backed off) But I didn't exactly lay back and play it safe for the race either.
Big take away from this race: I've got to work on my standing starts in the Vee.
This also marks my first race with the new PC build. I'm still seeing some frame drops on the recordings, but I'm narrowing it down to a recording-only issue (no drop frames in game) and have yet to look into the OBS settings to fine-tune it out.
