34: Series 2A Land Rover Door Latch Upgrade
Upgraded the original Series 2A door latch mechanism to the Series 3 "Non-burstable" style for more safety and added security.
Doors close much better and are now very solid at 3 points of contact on the closed door (including the 2 hinges). Well worth the time and money to take on this upgrade. Parts available in the U.S.A from www.roversnorth.com .
The door doesn't shake at all when driving, like it does with a 2A latch. And, the door is truly locked when locked . . . can't be pried open.
