Longbow shooting May 2020
Everyone is trying out new skills in Coronavirus lockdown so decided on Toxophily (archery). Retrieved my almost unused Longbow made in a course at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum. For the grand cost of £0 used wood offcuts to create an archery target stand and made a frame stuffed with a sofa cushion and old carpet for the target. Finished off with some target roundels and some excellent Medieval era arrows from Quiverstock. 60 arrows shot and only two off-target from 20 yards.
