AeroGarden Buttercrunch lettuce
I decided this year to go ahead and try growing a head of lettuce and this one is the buttercrunch. this one took a little while to form the head but conditions were right in my room. As well as other factors which are: spacing, lighting, and temperature, and variety.
I actually learned that it is pretty easy to grow this type of lettuce. The other varieties that thrive in cooler temperatures are romaine lettuce other leafy lettuces. When my room that I house my AeroGarden Farms gets too warm, my lettuces tend to bolt quickly.
The other thing that I did was that I didn't include in the video was I had a tiny fan running as well.
This also helps with the texture of the leaves so that they do have a crunch. you'll notice that if you do not have any sort of fan or wind in your room, your leaf lettuce looks wilted.
