little known fact, i am OBSESSED with horror movies and horror anything really. it should be obvious from my "YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE!!!" MV that i love that kinda stuff. zombies especially. it's polar opposite to sing r&b music, the sexiest genre there is, yet bring a horror accent to it... but that's very much me in a nutshell. ace hashimoto soup consists of these key ingredients: horror, r&b, japanese culture. thats it. in a perfect world, i'd combine all that into everything i do. if you've seen my album, the back where the tracklist is, is inspired by 80s horror VHS box scenes. as far as the music goes, this song was inspired by video game menu music. especially that playstation/playstation 2 era... so much good music. gran turismo used to get hourssss of time out of my life and furthered my love for jazz music. my pops actually put me onto jazz (acid jazz actually) before the games when he used to play Incognito - Beneath the Surface album in the car. i said my biggest goal as an artist was to have a Tower Records display in Japan and that's true. and it happend! but my biggest goal as a producer, would be to work on a video game soundtrack. whether it be a real game or fictional game that i create the OST for. something in the world of Final Fantasy 8 or Streets of Rage or Gran Turismo or No More Heroes or Sonic... i know i would kill it. i gotta get involved in the indie gaming scene or something! anyways, i hope you enjoy this Persona 5 inspired music and stay tuned for an extended version of this instrumental coming soon! thank you!
