Blender Rigging ~ Sherman Tank (VVSS Suspension)
In this video, we are reviewing some actual dynamic simulations for this tank. It is important to know that the actual dynamics (seen in this video) do not exist on the Churchill tank. With the set-up completely re-designed though, this vertical volute suspension system (VVSS) functions with the same restrictions and range-of-motion as the Churchill tank.
What dynamics are we talking about? We've re-created and implement the dynamic tank treads originally created and released by @MrHeinzelnisse on a vertical volute suspension system (VVSS) from a Sherman tank. Using Blender 3.0 (most recent release), we've re-created his set-up as an addition to the advanced tank rig. Some more research is in progress, however this is a promising look into how to maximize carnage in Blender!
