Flying With Friends - Kitfox in Formation
We sometimes have the chance to fly together with our friends. On a particularly nice day last week, my friends Eli and Emily shared the sky with my Kitfox and me, and shared this view of a moment in the flight.
Formation flying requires careful planning, and understanding of the performance of all involved aircraft. We briefed the flight before we started up, including who was navigating, who was in lead, planned route, and contingencies.
