Visiting A Tennessee Backcountry Strip With Friends
A favorite aspect of flying these little STOL-capable planes for me is the people I've gotten to know because of the Yellow Kitfox. On this particular day, I took the evening off from ArkanSTOL prep to fly with two experienced pilots in my area, and they introduced me to a new airstrip by a river in a neighboring county.
This will be a strip I'll land at again, probably bringing one of my kids for an overnight camping excursion.
