My 4-year-old and I took a flight in July, enjoying our Kitfox in the early morning over the Appalachian Mountains in northeastern Tennessee. It was delightful talking with her and hearing how she sees the world.
She's a little hard to understand, even for me, but that's to be expected when you're still learning your first language.
It took me about three months of trying to get blocks of time to sit down and edit for this to finally get done. If you have a kid, and you've made video of your kid, you know how hard it is to not just fall in love with every nuance, every little cute comment. That's a big part of what took so long on this one, because I had to chop out so much more than I left here.
Editing video is a skill I'm still learning, and I'm having to fit it into an extremely busy and hectic life, so, as much as I want to put out a video every week, it won't be likely unless I find a budding video geek who wants to hone skills by editing down the many terabytes of video I've managed to create already with the Kitfox.

I'm editing on Final Cut Pro, shooting with two GoPro Hero5 and two Hero8 cameras.
Audio for this flight was recorded on a Zoom H6, but the card filled about half-way through the first leg of the flight, so there's a whole lot of flying that didn't get used. In all, we flew together for several hours. You'll see at the end how tired it made her. And yet, she still asks to go often, and she's become my most avid right-seat companion!
