Welcome to our step-by-step tutorial on creating a QR code for your keyword opt-in! In this video, Jake from Textla walks you through the entire process, making it easy for you to generate a QR code that links directly to your SMS keyword opt-in.
1. Copy the Phone Number: Copy the phone number attached to your keyword.
2. Select SMS: Ensure SMS is selected on the QR code generator page.
3. Paste the Phone Number: Paste the phone number and select the US country code (+1).
4. Enter the Keyword: For the message, enter your keyword (e.g., "join").
5. Generate QR Code: Click "Generate QR Code."
I'll show you how to scan the QR code on your phone. Scanning the QR code will open an SMS with the keyword pre-filled. Just send it to opt into the list. Download the QR code as a PNG and use it anywhere you need.
