The laboratory of Hydraulics, Hydrology and Glaciology of ETHZ conducts research on different aspects of hydraulic and river engineering. One research focus is sustainability of hydropower and how to prevent downstream moving fish from swimming into the turbines and direct them to a safe bypass route. Doctoral researcher Anita Moldenhauer presents our laboratory facilities and gives a sneak peak into the live-fish tests she conducts.
