Signal K is the heart of OpenPlotter. The MacArthur HAT gives us great possibilities to get data in and out - but without a software which can deal with this data, it doesn't help.
Signal K is able to grab several sources, NMEA 0183, Seatalk, NMEA 2000, but also data from I2C sensors, 1W sensors and so on can be converted, forwarded to plotter software, multiplexed, shown on dashboards, fixed and more.

So, let's take a close look today on Signal K in our SIGNAL K SPECIAL!
