The city of Grosse Pointe is one of 5 Grosse Pointe’s. Grosse Pointe is a small upper class residential community with a small downtown area. The only commercial businesses inside of the City of Grosse Pointe would be found either in the small downtown area or along Mack Avenue on the northern border of the city. Everything else in town is strictly residential. Very high end old money residential at that.
