Gambol Shroud
Gambol Shroud is the first animation video that I ever put up on this channel. Being a six year old video, I have been wanting to remake it for a while now. While working on “Wilt and Blush” I wanted it to clash with Blake’s katana, but I wasn’t just going to use the old model. Originally I was only going to make the katana without the sheath, but I realized it was the best excuse I had to make a whole new “Gambol Shroud” video. Also I could make Yang’s prosthetic arm--prior to the Atlas upgrade--since I forgot to do that version on the “Ember Celica'' video. No one called me out on that, but it was bugging me that I just skipped it altogether. And in typical fashion, I try my best to showcase the weapon's history so far.
I had a bit of fun incorporating both “‘Ember Celica” and “Wilt and Blush” into the video. Sometimes I worry that I'm stealing the spotlight from the main weapon when I incorporate others into their video, but it felt appropriate to have both of them clash in this one. And in another typical fashion, I like to twist the knife whenever possible :)
