Machine Sewed Buttons (with/without shank + easy to secure) | Sewing Tutorial | Sew Noob | Sew Rogue
In this Sew Noob episode, I make use of my sewing machine and the button foot that came with it, to sew on some buttons.
Only sew-through buttons can be sewn on with your sewing machine. You can also create a shank for your sew-through button, if you are sewing a button onto a heavier fabric, for example a jacket.
I also demonstrate an extremely easy way in which to secure your button, making sure no buttons come loose or fall off with consistent use.
This is a beginner friendly sewing tutorial.
