The Insignia skirt is perfect for beginners, drafting and manipulating patterns for the first time.
The basic skirt block, which was drafted in a previous video, is used as the foundation for this pattern (see below: PATTERN DRAFTING RESOURCES).
This skirt is also sewed with a variety of beginner friendly sewing techniques, each of which is thoroughly explained in their own tutorial (see below: GARMENT CONSTRUCTION RESOURCES).
The Insignia skirt is a ballerina-length high-waisted skirt, with an elasticated waistband and a faux buttonstand to add some detail. Buttons is also sewn on using a sewing machine, making this skirt a quick and easy DIY make.
