Taking family for first flights 😁
This may have been my favorite time flying since I earned my pilot certificate. I wanted to do this since before I even got my certificate, but it took a while to get everyone's schedules and the weather to cooperate.
I flew the short hop to Inyokern Airport near where I grew up and most of my family still lives. Then some of my family members watched my kids while I gave everyone who wanted to a turn to fly. It reminds me of my first time flying as a kid with the Young Eagles program but to me its even more fun when you get to do it with family.
Everyone had lots of fun and I think all of them would like to do it again. I know I would.
