Overview
"True!XG" aims to depict the look and feel of Sonic XG as if it's development went better than it has been going, with the premise that a full-blown remake was unnecessary.
Updates still happen to come out from time to time. This video was covering the latest beta version, labelled as "Beta 40." Another update had released a few days ago so feel free to check it out.

*Few things worth noting from this playthrough*.
I assume once heading into the special stage ring first time I was stuck in a loop bug or something until collecting all chaos emeralds to get out of it.
Few stages felt like a mess, Tyrannic Tower (aka. Cyber City) was a prime example, so I cut out the portions that I messed up in (aka. areas of where I somehow fell off of the map).
Once finishing the game, I assume you're stuck on a screen where even though it tells you to press jump to go back to the title screen.
