Plot
Eggman has been possessed and turned into Devil Eggman and has cursed South Island. Find the Chaos Pumpkins and undo the curse!

The modified rom here features art and music edits, new level gimmicks, and boss edits. Since 2015, the creator has released a new build each year for Halloween.
I believe 2021 had its final update, though I'm not sure what changed.
Few notable highlights (based on 2020 build) include:
• Fixed various bugs.
• Layouts have been edited to remove all bottomless pits.
• There is a new ending for beating the game with zero Chaos Pumpkins.
• The credits now plays a different song depending on which ending you get.
• Music updates to various zones.
• Few miscellaneous art edits to a few zones.
