Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Dash! - Restored is a modification of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Dash! originally designed for low-end phones, created by I-like-Sonic-91, featured as an entry to this years (2024) Sonic Hacking Contest!

Overview
This project's goal is to present what Sonic 2 Dash might have looked like if it had employed the original Mega Drive graphics (the original game's sprites were low-resolution versions). It's a visual and audio modification as of this build. Utilizing both PNG graphics and MIDI music to its advantage, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Dash Restored illustrates what could've happened if the game had been more faithful to both its high-end version and the original Mega Drive title.
