The U19 Champions Trophy - or in short: the Easter tournament - has been attracting well-known clubs to Duesseldorf for decades. The youth teams of all major clubs were already here: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona from Spain, the English clubs FC Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal London as well as Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord Rotterdam from the Netherlands, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, Galatasaray Istanbul, Juventus Turin , the Japanese University Selection and numerous national teams. Of course, German footballers also come: FC Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04 and 1. FC Köln have been guests. Always there: Fortuna Düsseldorf. Around 70 different clubs from all over the world have already played on the BV04 pitch in Duesseldorf-Golzheim.
The U19 tournament is a chance to be very close to the players, you may meet guys there who will eventually become superstars.
