If you need a fast checkerboard shader for Iray in DAZ3D, then this video is for you. Checkerboards are used to get an idea how a shader you are working on reacts to the environment. Especially, if the shader in question is translucent, reflective, or both. I'm using Shader Mixer in DAZ Studio Pro 4.12 to create a shader and save it for further use.
This "how-to" does not require anything besides what's available in DAZ already.
