Bard AI vs. ChatGPT: Code Completion Comparison | AI Coding Showdown
Join us in this AI coding showdown as we compare the code completion capabilities of Google Bard AI with ChatGPT. In a previous video, we pitted Bard against OpenAI's Code Interpreter, where Bard fell short. This time, we're putting Bard up against ChatGPT 3, the predecessor of the latest version.
Using ChatGPT3, we successfully generated code for a task involving Google Apps Script for Google Sheets. We automated the process of sending automatic emails with Zoom links and customized PDF invitation letters. However, when we gave the same prompt to Bard, it struggled to deliver the desired results.
Follow along as we walk through the prompt given to both AI models, showcasing the differences in code generation and functionality. While ChatGPT3 seamlessly produced working code, Bard encountered errors with utility functions and document text replacement methods.
Despite its limitations in code generation, Bard may still find success in the market due to its integration capabilities with various Google applications. However, when it comes to code completion, ChatGPT emerges as the clear winner.
