R.A.F Snaith WAAF Site One . A Quick Question.......
One of the dispersed sites for RAF Snaith, WAAF site No.1 still has many of the original buildings including the WAAF Officers block , a Mess , NAAFI kitchen block, theatre building and even an air raid shelter.
Here is a very quick look at the Officers block, this included accomodation, kitchen,mess and NAAFI.
The building still retains some original features and is just perfect to restore to it's former life to house some true ''golden gems' , one being the recovered remains of Handley Page Halifax HR 936 , MH-J 'Jane' of 51 Squadron who flew from RAF Snaith.
