The 3PAR StoreServ 7200 is a tier 1 system with 2 controllers. The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7400 is quad-controller capable delivering tier 1 storage with more robust redundancy. There's also an all SSD configuration of the 7000 series capable of hundreds of thousands of IOPS with exceptionally low latency.
