Hi! I'm Apollos! This original song I composed finds its roots from my middle name "STAR" and is based on Philippians 2:15 "so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like STARS in the sky".
By God's grace, I seek to live up to the meaning of my name STAR, but more than that, I strive towards the upward & ultimate call God has on my life to share the Best News - the Gospel (in accordance to Matthew 28:18-20)!

As Christians (born again believers), we have experienced the radiance and glory of Christ, and we have the privilege to share and SHINE that transforming, resurrecting news with others. The Bible states that a light shouldn't be hidden or covered, but instead "SET ON A HILL" so that many may see it. Since Jesus is the light in the darkness, we have nothing to fear.
My CHALLENGE to YOU is to be that LIGHT in this BROKEN and NEEDY world, desperate to find belonging, meaning, and purpose. PRAY about ONE or TWO friends who don't know Jesus as their personal Savior whom you can share the BEST NEWS with.

Biblical Mandate:

Don't be discouraged or afraid to proclaim the gospel because of these Biblical truths:

From these verses I've learned TWO key points:
1. It is GOD who saves, NOT us.
2. The Holy Spirit's power works in us to bring to remembrance Gospel truths. We can rely on His guidance.
