INSPIRATION behind the song:
I've always been motivated to write worship songs with lyrics & concepts directly derived from God's Word. I believe in this manner that the gospel is plainly demonstrated and Scripture speaks powerfully for itself.
Romans 8 is one of my all time favorite passages. It focuses on the freedom Christians have through Christ. It emphasizes the Holy Spirit's power in believers to overcome sin. Living in the Spirit rather than the flesh leads to life and peace. As adopted children of God, we're heirs with Christ, and thus, despite present sufferings, there is assurance of future glory. The chapter culminates with the promise that nothing can separate us from God's love.
