Well golly geeze. The new year has barely gotton to a start and already we have a the first cosplay related event of the year. Just a week after new years do we have Anime Revolution 2015 Winter taking place at the Art Institute of Vancouver.
It was a one day event meant to be a precursor to the full fledged convention that is happening in August. It had panels but I didn't attend any of them and was mostly focused on cosplay.
It seemed like a good time to take my Christmas gifts out for a spin. I bought a flatbed dolly to place my tri-pod upon in an attempt to improve cosplay shooting but also general event shooting. Frankly it didn't work very well for the cosplay shoots and I wound up just using my usual style of shooting. It might be something I could use for blogging in the future and walking cosplay shots (which I'll be doing alot few of from now on)
There is other equipment that would work better but right now is out of my price range.
