Akimastsuri is an annual event meant to be a smaller version of Anime Evolution. It's focus is that of Japanese culture which of course include Anime. It took place of UBC Robson Square which is a school located near the Vancouver Art Gallery and right beside the ice rink.
It's the last event of the year so I thought I would do one last cosplay videography to finish off the year. I shot in a different style this time to better suit the music. None of my moving around but rather simple shots I like to call "Living Photographs". People pose as though they where being photographed but you shoot 10 secounds of video instead. Think of the Harry Potter newspapers and posters.
I wanted to simultaneously do this as a tribute Kevin Macleod who's music I've used so often that It's gone a long way to make some great videos from them.
