Welcome to Jotunheim, a speculative seed world where evolution has been running unchecked since humanity vanished.
In this episode we explore how life has adapted inside Jotunheim’s vast forests during the Hyrian Age. Descendants of farm pigs diversify into tree-climbing canopy dwellers, tunnel-building burrowers, fast-moving deer-like grazers, and terrifying pack-hunting wolf pigs. Alongside them, bees reshape entire forest ecosystems, while giant earthworms engineer vast underground habitats.
This is a scientifically grounded exploration of adaptive radiation, convergent evolution, and how changes in gravity, oxygen, and ecology can drive life in unexpected directions.
