3D Environment Timelapse 1
Decided to record some of my process while continuing on my current piece in After Effects, this time I'm updating the environment with some additional assets and incorporating some camera movements into the piece.
Overall, I really like the "parralax" effect the images give due to their position in the 3D plane, and it really pays dividends in elevating the piece from just a standard 2D affair
I tested out the Heatwave type distortion, since Super Saiyan God has a fire aura, normally Adjustment laters affect all layers beneath it, however by duplicating the "Back" aura file and setting the Adjustment layer to "Alpha Matte" it, I can isolate the efect to just Goku, which helps keep the background and surrounding areas looking clearer.
It's fun to give insight into my workflow and processes, and it's something I want to continue documenting as I add more and more to this project.
