A Long Fight | Neoquest 2 (from Neopets.com) | Part 16
Welcome to my playthrough of Neoquest 2! This is a little known game, tucked into the depths of Neopets. It is a full-fledged, turn-based, fantasy RPG, all played right in your browser!
Neopets is a site that was popular in the 2000s. It is most known for its pet simulation, where you create a pet, feed it, play with it, etc But, there is a lot more to it than this. It has 100s of flash games, a battle simulator, an entire economy, and forums. It still exists and has active players today, but its popularity has dwindled considerably.
At the end of this year (2020), Adobe Flash will no longer be supported. Neopets is working on converting much of the site to HTML5, but it is uncertain what will happen to a lot of the old site.
Although Neoquest 2 is not flash-based, there is a chance the entire old version of the site gets left behind, including Neoquest 2. Thus, my primary reason for playing through this game is for archival purposes. At the time of writing, I could not find a single entire playthrough of this game on YouTube. Should the game disappear, I want to be able to come back here and watch this entire game be played 10, 20, or 30 years from now.
